Security & Compliance
Institutional assets deserve institutional protection.
The LifeNotes™ Trust is audited annually by Doeren Mayhew — one of the largest CPA firms specializing in credit unions.
Trust Infrastructure
Four pillars of institutional security
Independent audit
Doeren Mayhew conducts annual audits of the LifeNotes Trust. Two audits per year — one scheduled, one surprise. Year-end financials reviewed and published to certificate holders.
Institutional custody
All trust assets are held in institutional-grade custody, separate from infineo's operating entities.
Examiner-ready documentation
Complete documentation packages available for state and federal examiner review — including trust agreements, independent audit reports, carrier ratings, and compliance history.
Structural separation
Capaxa LLC serves as trustee — a special-purpose vehicle with no employees and no balance sheet. Trust assets are legally separated from all operating entities. Grantors can vote to replace the trustee at any time.
Data Security
Your data is protected at every layer
infineo maintains enterprise-grade security controls across all platforms and services. All data is encrypted in transit and at rest. Access controls enforce least-privilege principles across every system.
Our Chief Information & Security Officer oversees a continuous security program — including vulnerability management, incident response, and vendor security assessments.
Reporting & Transparency
Full visibility into the trust
Certificate holders receive regular reporting at every level — from individual policy look-throughs to fund-level financials.
Statements of accretion and cash value. Policy value updates for every position.
Asset statements with per-policy look-through reporting. Names redacted for privacy, full transparency into underlying assets.
Certificate holder report with full fund financials. Fiscal year-end reviews. Tax filing support and coordination.
